iSpy Creativity - The blog of Laurence Elsdon: Web

A journey into Tumblr
So here’s my first post on a new Tumblr blog.
I’m Laurence Elsdon, a 19 year old web designer, photographer and architecture student. I’m studying in Newcastle but originally from Norwich.
Last year I worked at Adept Digital (the web branch of Adept…). Adept a a small agency in Aylsham, but they compete with some top London agencies and do work for many top charities including Dogs Trust. With Adept I designed and developed Cycle Côte d’Azur, Pump Aid and National Eye Health Week. I also designed Rockland Mere Fisheries Tackle Shop and FODO. I’ll eventually get my portfolio sorted and you’ll be able to see a whole host more of projects I worked on so keep checking my web design portfolio.
I’ve just finished my first semester of Architecture at Northumbria University, I’ll try to get some of the work I’ve done uploaded soon, but for now my priority is getting my content management system finished, and the new version of iSpy Creativity updated and online.
I’ve been developing a content management system for a while now and this week I decided to integrate Tumblr as the blogging platform; why reinvent the wheel? So this is something of an experiment to make sure it’s all working out nicely. As you can see the Tumblr theme matches (or will do) seamlessly with the website. I’ve opted to use the custom blog.ispycreativity.com domain instead of ispycreativity.tumblr.com purely for vanity reasons, but I’m half tempted to revert to the tumblr one.
I’ll update this blog every so often with posts and links related to web design, development and perhaps the odd photography and architecture post.
